On March 30th, The CAN Foundation will present ‘The World of Shapes TOUR’ in collaboration with Visible Records in Charlottesville, that will include two fully immersive mural exhibitions by Dathan Kane taking place simultaneously in Charlottesville and Newport News, Virginia in March 2024. The first of the installations was unveiled on March 1st at Visible Records in Charlottesville as a part of The Residency Exchange Program in which the CAN sent Kane to execute an exhibition in Charlottesville, and Visible Records will send artists to Newport News to complete a residency at the CAN later this spring.
The ‘World of Shapes’ exhibition, taking place at the CAN Offsite Gallery at City Center at Oyster Point in Newport News, will open on March 30th at 6 PM and will be on view through early July 2024.
