A patron is an individual or organization that plays a significant role in nurturing and promoting creativity and culture. They can support artists, writers, performers, and cultural institutions by providing funding, resources, and opportunities for them to create, exhibit, or perform their work.
The Patron’s Party will be a dazzling celebration of the patrons that make contemporary arts possible and an opportunity to celebrate our shared appreciation of the arts.
While at the “Patron’s Party” enjoy an eclectic, multi-genre evening including:
Performances by former CAN Foundation Artists in Residence, i.D. Jeter and Denise Nicole Battle
Live music with Quoyah, Lane Rice, Fortresses, and other special guests
A short documentary highlighting the CAN Foundation’s achievements by CANDo and CAN Talk Host, Kayda Plus
Heavy hors d’oeuvres by Chef Troy, a Hampton Roads based chef
Special brews by Coastal Fermentory & a selection of wine
The ‘Selections from the CAN Collection’ Exhibition, featuring works from the CAN Collection
Small Works and Print Sale to benefit the CAN Foundation
Proceeds from the event will go directly toward CAN Foundation programming. We thank you in advance for helping to further our mission of building sustainable careers for the creative class.
